DEWATERING SERVICES
Dewatering is a term used to describe the action of removing groundwater or surface water from a construction site through deep wells or wellpointing and is practiced to maintain a safe and dry construction site. Typically, the Dewatering process is done by pumping or evaporation and is usually done before excavation to reduce any risks of problems during the construction procedure. The most common Dewatering methods that are used frequently typically involve the use of
Submersible Pumps,
and
Trash Pumps. Dewatering can also be done using a Geotube, which is a geotextile fabricated to the requirements of a specific project, that works by containing the contaminated water, and then filtering out the particulates by flocculating them, leaving the solids inside, while the clean water disperses from the tube.
